Science – A Quest for Truth
First of all one should thank the author of the book Sri Gauhar Raza for this brilliant book in HINDI because there are very few books the subject in the most loved and spoken language of the country ie., hindi. In our country many of us take myths, particularly the religious mythology, to be gospels of truth. This book destroys many false notions in the minds of the people. As the as the author also happens to be a poet, he has quite sensitive to the feelings of ‘asthavan’ (believers) among us, so as not to hurt sentiments while blasting certain lies and beliefs propagated by various religions. His views on the relentless research by scientists on the origins of our universe and the evolution of scientific thinking during many centuries done and advanced by scientists on our ever-expanding universe. The beauty of the book lies in the fact that Sri Gauhar Raza weaves the complex issue of myths through religion, anacedots, science, philosophy and spirituality. It’s very interesting to read about the long-drawn tussle between science and religion in their quest for truth. He very rightly distinguishes the fundamental difference between religion and science by his simple analogy that says religion is static about its old theological views based on ancient scriptures or in other words in religion old is gold whereas in science everything is volatiles and keeps changing on outcomes of new research and/or new discoveries. He very rightly says that in science every scientist is equally welcome and respected for any unique contribution to existing scientific knowledge whereas in religion there is a certain hierarchy among priests e.g. Mahants, Mathadheesh, head priests or the presiding Pope etc.I place this book equal to the works (Sapiens & 21 lessons for the 21st century) of YUVAL NOAH HARARI and wish it sells in millions because it will go a long way to develop scientific temperament, which is still lacking in my country.

Book for every Hindi reader
Every person who has studied in school shpuld have some basic questions.Who created this universe? Your answer er is Big bang or Religious way ?How human has came to this world? Your answer is Darwin’s theory of evolution or Religious way?Good book for rational approach with scientific theory and background.Some paragraphs and lines are required to be read, though for some time and agin read it.A book that every Hindi reader should read.I wish it would be available in regional languages also some day to increase its spread.

Raza explains well about what is science,it’s importance and How it is different from religion. Indian Athiest can understand and those who are agnostic book can help them to become atheist. I request writer to translate it in English for English readers.
